Gayla Hill

Administrative Assistant

Born in Kentucky, but raised in California from age 3 to 18, her father, Rev. William H. Hill, went out to California to serve in the mission field in 1952. After her graduation, her father resigned as pastor of East Barstow Southern Baptist Church, and the family returned to Kentucky. She attended one year of Hopkinsville Community College, studying Office Administration.
She worked in several factories: Arvin’s, Ottenheimer, H & E Apparel; but she retired from Baptist Health after working as an insurance clerk for 22 years.
She has served in her church, Second Baptist in Princeton, as a volunteer church secretary for many years and loves to work with youth and children. She presently serves as the WMU Consultant and Clerk in the Caldwell/Lyon Baptist Association. As WMU Consultant, she works with women in Baptist churches to study and do missions. As Clerk, she records minutes for the Executive Board monthly meetings.
Her hobbies are working jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku and Word Search puzzles, collects clowns (not the scary kind), and loves to read and color.
